2023 Spring Softball

We are thrilled to open registration for the 2023 Spring Softball Season!  We had an amazing spring season, a great summer of Wicked softball, and are finishing a great outing by RCGSL in fall ball.  Now ... it is back to our favorite part of the year: Spring Softball!

 

Important Dates:

  • October 24th - Registration Opens
  • December 1st - Early Bird Deadline Ends
  • December 15th - Regular Registration Ends
  • December 16th - Spring Waitlist Opens
  • Mid-January - Player evaluations
  • February - Practices begin
  • End-February - Picture Day and Hit-a-thon
  • Beginning March - Opening Day/Games Begin!

Important Notes:

1) RCGSL will be keeping enrollment open until December 18th.  We will only add players to a waitlist after December with no guarantee that we will have space for your player.  PLEASE register today!  If you register by Dec. 1st, you will also receive an additional $25 discount - don't wait!

2) For families with multiple players playing RCGSL, we are offering a $25 discount per child.

 

RCGSL DIVISIONS BY DOB YEAR

Division and Cost Breakdown:

  • Rookies (6U): Ages 4-6 as of January 1, 2023- $180 

  • Juniors (8U): Ages 7 or 8 as of January 1, 2023 -  $180  

  • Minors (10U): Ages 9 or 10 as of January 1, 2023 - $235  

  • Majors (12U): Ages 11 or 12 as of January 1, 2023 - $235

  • Seniors (14U): Ages 13 or 14 as of January 1, 2023 - $235

I am excited to be serving as the RCGSL president again for the 2023 season, along with a stellar board of returning and new volunteers.  We are looking forward to build on the momentum of last year and have an even better experience for the families and your girls.

About the Redwood City Girls Softball League

Founded in 2006, the Redwood City Girls Softball League is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), tax-exempt corporation whose purpose is to provide recreational and competitive fastpitch softball programs for girls ages 4-14. We serve Redwood City and surrounding communities of Atherton, Menlo Park, Portola Valley and Woodside.

Girls of any ability are welcome, and the main purpose is to teach/learn the great game of softball and have fun.  Divisions are provided for recreational teams, intended for beginner to accomplished players, and also more competitive travel teams, intended for girls with above average ability and experience and/or players interested in taking their game to the next level in a more challenging and competitive environment.
